The Chan family has lived in Albany for over 15 years, providing Albany with tasty Hong Kong delicacies and baked goods at the Hong Kong Bakery & Bistro and other restaurants for the past decade.

On Friday June 18th, they came home to find their entire house ransacked and robbed of over $70,000 of family heirlooms, personal items, and more.
The family has worked incredibly hard to keep the restaurant running through the last year of facing COVID discrimination against Asian businesses and low traffic because of the pandemic - this burglary has taken away priceless family items and their sense of safety within their homes.
