**Update** (14.1.2021)

Since I began  this small project, I have now been asked to include 3 more wards including Critical Care Unit, so it's growing which means it's needed more than ever.

Unfortunately, they're no longer able to accept home made contributions for risk of covid, but thank you for the overwhelming support and offers of baking.

Things are getting worse for our amazing NHS staff, so any support you're able to offer financially, would enable me to continue supplying the very necessary supplies needed to keep the people who are saving so many of our family, friends, colleagues and neighbours from this horrid virus. We have enough funding for the next drop next Thursday (21st January) but need more if we want to be able to continue after that.

They also welcome messages of thanks and support, for their staff rooms. Sounds small, but anything we can do to lift their spirits is welcomed.

Thank you again for all your help, generosity and support, it really is so truly appreciated.

Thanks
Frankie xx

Hello I am Frankie.

We are now in our 3rd Lockdown and our NHS teams are working harder than ever and I want to help.

What began as an idea to send some pizzas to the staff at the Royal Sussex Hospital here in Brighton one evening, has now grown to a campaign to support and provide supplies to keep our amazing teams going.

Last week I raised £355 and was able to provide 9 goodie bags of treats, one for each of the Covid wards at the hospital.
This ranged from lots of fruit to tea and coffee, crisps, chocolate, even porridge pots.

The interest and support was phenomenal,  and still going, so I want to try and do it again and every 2 weeks until we are out of lockdown.

The target amount of £1200 will enable me to provide non perishable food and drink items to the staff, so they can eat on the go and grab a snack when they can, every 2 weeks.  It equates to £40 a fortnight for each ward.

As well as the 9 Covid wards at Royal Sussex, I have also been asked to include Mill View Hospital where there are nurses and doctors looking after mental health patients who have Covid.  Which makes 10 Covid specialist wards in total.

Lots of people wanted to donate, but I also need support in other ways.

Are you a baker? Could you bake 10 batches of cookies or cup cakes, one batch for each ward?

Do you have a car? Could you help me transport the deliveries to the hospital?

Do you have children?  Could they write some lovely messages or pictures of support?

Not all contributions need to be financial, so let me know how you'd like to help.

If however you are able to make a donation, then this is the best place to do so.

Thank you for reading and for all your support. xxx
