NHS Theatre Company Shows and Trips

My name is Stephanie FitzSimon and I am the head director for Navasota High School in central Texas. Our program has grown tremendously over the course of 5 years and we currently produce 3 shows a year, two contests (hopefully more soon!), and host several events at our theatre. We are a Title 1 school, meaning that our school serves a high amount of students from low-income families. Our school does an amazing job at giving our students opportunities in so many programs, including the fine arts. With our growing program, we are hoping to attend our first out-of-state trip this year at Walt Disney World in Florida, for a full theatrical experience. The students will not only get hands-on experiences at the parks with possible exposure to career opportunities, but they will also receive an exclusive Broadway Disney workshop. This is an amazing opportunity for the students and will be an experience they will never forget. We are asking for any donations, big or small, to help go towards their expenses for this trip. Consider giving for this upcoming Give Tuesday, and anytime throughout the next year so these very deserving students can have a change at this once-in-a-lifetime experience.
