Health Australia and Tanzania

We are a Melbourne based NGO partnering with local Tanzanian NGOs to promote health equity.

Access to appropriate sanitation and hygiene systems is a pre-requisite to good health, to which everyone has a right. We aim to provide funds to our NGO partners to carry out activities promoting health equity, with a specific focus on hygiene and sanitation.

We are currently raising funds to support menstrual hygiene projects throughout rural Tanzania-funds currently raised will go towards supporting the purchase and distribution of reusable menstrual pads, as well as menstrual education.

We are completely volunteer based and all money raised by us goes directly to our charity partners in Tanzania to complete vital health and hygiene-related projects. To become a member, or to learn more, go to http://www.hat.org.au/
