Niagara County Girls HS Ice Hockey

Starpoint, Niagara Wheatfield, North Tonawanda and Lew-Port agreed to combine and start a Girls HS Federation team called Niagara County for the ‘18-‘19 school year.  All four schools agreed to cover a portion of the season while requiring the families of players to cover the rest of the fees, $400 per player.   As a result, many families can’t afford the fee and have backed out of trying out for the team, leaving the number of girls trying out too low carry a team.  The goal of this GoFundMe is to raise enough money to curtail the costs to the families so that girls can try out, play hockey and not have to worry about paying extra money to play.   If the team folds, it will be very difficult to get board approval in the future which will leave many Niagara County girls now and in the future without a chance to play Girls HS hockey.
