The Niamh Toland Rehabilitation Fund

Donation protected
My name is Niamh Toland and I am a 14 year old girl from Kerrykeel, Co. Donegal Ireland. In May 2019, I was diagnosed with a very rare condition called Aplastic Anemia which hasn’t been seen in Letterkenny in over 10 years. Due to my illness I will need a full bone marrow transplant after I receive chemo therapy for approximately 1 week starting from September 23rd 2019. I will then receive a bone marrow transplant from my 12 year old brother on the 1st of October 2019 and then be confined to isolation for 6-8 weeks in Crumlin Children’s Hospital, Dublin. This will be a very stressful time for myself and my family as my mother has had to become my full-time carer and any funds raised will be greatly appreciated. I will keep you updated on my social media and on this page. Thank you, Niamh.

My name is Shane McGinley, I am Niamhs older cousin, the GoFundMe page owner and the chairperson of the committee set up to deal with fundraising for Niamh.

The funds raised from this GoFundMe account will be directly transferred by myself to a Fundraising Credit Union account named the “Niamh Toland Fund”, Which will be available for Niamh and her mother to access and withdraw funds for expenses that the committee members deem acceptable.

Thank you very much on behalf of Niamh and family!
