Knowing True Love...Moustapha
Donation protected
Mouhamadou Moustapha (“Tapha” or ”Mouss”) Niang was a phenomenal man of God who everyone has grown to love. He was an amazing husband, son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. Moustapha had religiously shared his gift of love to every person he encountered. His positive energy brought joy, and “knowing him… was to know love!”
Moustapha was a humble man with a passion for the game of basketball. He loved to play, watch, and teach the game. Moustapha was an exceptional player that received MVP and All Star honors. He played on the national team in Senegal and also played professionally all over the world including France, Switzerland, Libya, Egypt and Qatar. While leisurely playing basketball at the YMCA in New Orleans, Moustapha encountered a rare condition called non-compaction cardiomyopathy (NCC) which caused him to have a cardiac arrest and an unresponsive brain. Moustapha was in a comatose state for over a week in the hospital’s ICU, until he sacredly passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2017. We would appreciate prayers and support for his family throughout this challenging experience.
To ensure that Moustapha receives the tribute in which he deserves and to help make this life transition as easy as possible, we hope to raise funds to cover Moustapha’s medical expenses.
Thank you in advance.
