NIB COALITION CAMPAIGN ESCALATES

Hi Everyone, Events around the infrastructure debate are moving fast and furious.  Over the past several weeks, more resolutions have been passing in support of the National Infrastructure Bank (Illinois House, Dodge Co. Wisconsin Board of Supervisors, Rhode Island Building and Construction Trades, Nevada Legislature).  This bank will cover all the immediate infrastructure needs of the nation and do it without racking up any new federal debt or any new federal taxes. It will make both parties happy! (well, happier, there is still too much venom for happiness).  At the end of last week, this culminated in the introduction of a new National Infrastructure Bank Act, to create a $5 trillion bank. At the same time, President Biden, in an attempt to get some kind of infrastructure bill passed by congress, cut his proposed policy by $550 billion, including more cuts to surface transportation and a whopping 33% cut to broadband.  So much for education or rural business or farming.  Luckily for Joe, the new NIB will cover all his proposals, eliminate his cuts, and more. The whole Enchilada!  The NIB will create 25 million new jobs, pay Davis-Bacon wages, and implement Buy American policies.    Everyone is talking about National Infrastructure Banks.  We must make sure that it is the right one.  The time to act is now!
