Nicholas Desforges’ Celebration of Life

Son, brother, grandson, nephew, and cousin, Nicholas Victor Desforges has passed unexpectedly on Friday, November 18th, 2022, at the young age of 29.

If you didn’t know or don’t remember Nick, he was the kid with all the smiles, full of curiosity and emotion, with a go-for-it-energy. As a young man, he struggled with ever-growing emotions and could not find his place in this cold and lonely world ー feeling suffocated by expectations, outcasted, and completely misunderstood, layered with the disappointment of a male who couldn’t fit the societal mold. Yet, despite it all, he was still genuinely gentle in both heart and soul. 

With an investigation ongoing and many funeral and commemoration expenses forthcoming, we could really use any assistance possible to organize a proper Celebration of Life, like he deserves.

We would love to send off our dear li’l Nicky, as honourable and peaceful as possible. We would also greatly appreciate seeing all of our family and friends attend the ceremony and a home-style dinner, afterwards.

Any funds that we might receive in surplus will be donated to the Canadian Mental Health Association.

**The ceremony will be @Simple Wishes on Kingsway Blvd. in Sudbury, on Saturday, December 3rd, with a potluck dinner at Lori Desforges’ house afterwards.
