We are setting up this go fund me page with the heaviest of hearts for our friend Nicky Aka Penny!

On Wednesday 2nd November Nicky was found at home after sadly taking his own life leaving behind his parents and siblings and friends who all thought the world of him.

Nicky always had such a lovely, cheeky fun personality even from been a teenager, he was a popular lad who we all loved and wanted to be around. Sadly after leaving school Nicky got involved in addictive substances that just spiralled out of control for him.

He as always been embarrassed of his addiction and wanted nothing more than to get clean however for some who are not educated on substance addictions, I will explain! Addiction is a serious illness which not only effects a persons brain but also changes there behaviour too, it leaves you in darkness and reduces you to nothing almost taking over your whole life and turning you into an unrecognisable person that loose control of there self and the person they once was.

It’s so sad that Nicky wanted so much to get off this drug and had finally secured a place in rehab, it’s NOT as easy as people may think to get into rehab and it’s NOT as easy as you may think to “just stop using the drug ”

It’s a serious illness that takes hold of you and will break you and your family & friends apart leaving you with nothing!! Your only friend is “the drug” that is slowly killing you.

Please all try to remember Nicky how he was at school and growing up before this addiction took a hold of him!

As you can imagine this was totally unexpected to his family so any money raised will be a huge help and show them how truly loved Nicky was.

Rest in peace, and fly high like the diamond you really are.
