Nick and Ainsley Lejeune

As many of you may know, Nick was accidentally shot in the stomach during a skeet shoot at close range on Saturday afternoon. He was airmeded to LGMC and underwent 2 major abdominal surgeries to remove all of the bullet fragments and repair damages to the organs involved. The second surgery was a success at closing his abdomen and reconnecting the bowels, but there is damage left that couldn’t be repaired and will just take time to heal on their own. He is stable currently but will remain in the hospital for an undetermined amount of time at this point. His colon still has not started working since the surgery, which is to be expected, but there is no way to determine how long it will be before he is able to start eating and drinking again. I am creating this Go fund me to help with the cost of medical expenses and any gaps in income at this time and any gaps that may occur over the next several weeks that it takes Nick to recover and return to work. He is in a lot of pain, and this is going to be a slow miserable process for him. I don’t want the financial burden of this incident to be another obstacle dragging him down.
