Nick Bellafiore's Medical Relief Fund

Hello,

My name is Charlie Bellafiore, and I am fundraising for my beloved 30-year-old brother Nick Bellafiore. On September 1st, Nick was in a terrible motorcycle accident on Interstate 80 while passing through Reno, Nevada, on his way to a festival. Nick suffered massive injuries and is lucky to be alive. He is currently in Critical Condition in the hospital and has a great number of procedures, surgeries, and rehab ahead of him. Our Nick is a fighter, but even in the best-case scenario, it will be at least six months before he is able to walk.

As many of you know, Nick is an amazing person who is incredibly generous, loving, and compassionate. His selflessness and drive are awe-inspiring to those who know him. Alongside being a very talented chef and musician, he is also the best sibling and son a family could ask for and a friend to everyone fortunate enough to cross his path. Nick's love of the world has taken him on many adventures and blessed him with a tremendous community.

For the past four years, Nick has been living and working full-time in San Diego, whilst putting himself through college to become a dietician. The injuries sustained in this accident are going to put a hold on everything he has worked so hard for. Along with the incredible medical and rehab costs incurred by this injury, he will also miss at least a year's worth of wages. Additionally, in order to support him, our family has had to move from Maine to Reno, NV, for at least three months to support him before He can potentially be transferred home to Portland, ME.

We are creating this GofundMe to support Nick and our family during this tremendously difficult time and ease his burden so that he can entirely focus on his healing.
