If you're part of the Fort Wayne and(or) Firefly community chances are you have crossed paths with Jared Busch and his infectious personality. If you've met Jared then you've most likely met his brother Nick Busch. If you've met both of them then I'm certain you weren't able to keep a straight face for more than 30 seconds.
Nick had an incredibly tender heart. It was weird how intuitive he was. His understanding and empathy ran very, very deep. And it showed in his humor. He was hilarious, and he was so loving. And felt things so deeply.
He had a fantastic taste in music and wrote songs as well. They were beautiful. And he treasured unique things— people’s idiosyncrasies, a particular song, a particular memento— it was extraordinary the way things resonated with him. And he made people feel really special for the things they found important in their life, things most people would never recognize. He made people feel important and understood. He was never judgmental or cruel. He was a purely loving person and it was remarkable to witness.
He was extremely hardworking. And everything he did—everything he worked for, he did for others. So many people loved Nick. So many people love him and will continue to love him for the rest of our lives. He sought out beauty and treasured it. He brought so much joy to this planet. Words can’t describe the person Nick was. He was a rare, magnificent being. He had a beautiful mind. A purely loving heart.
Nick left this earth on Sunday, August 30th. He left behind an amazing brother (Jared) and sister (Heidi) and many beloved friends.
Jared and Nick's mother passed away this past year and funeral costs are never easy for anyone to handle on their own. As friends of Jared and his girlfriend Bridget we are trying to help these absolutely beautiful humans in anyway possible financially. Our goal is $5,000 to completely relieve the cost of Nick's funeral.
