Nick Conklin's fight against COVID in the ICU
Donation protected
This is an URGENT medical emergency for Nick Conklin following his battle with severe COVID. In February, Nick contracted the COVID-19 virus. Although he has recovered from the virus itself, he is now experiencing severe heart and lung complications, and he has been fighting them for weeks. His lungs are hardening as time passes, and his heart is working overtime to pump the oxygen his body needs. At this time, we are asking financial support to assist with medical expenses, living expenses and home modifications to accommodate his potential return. There will also be additional charges for specialized equipment, including oxygen tanks and transport supplies. Any financial help would be greatly appreciated for this family man and veteran hero.
A little more about Nick. Nick is 60 years old with 8 children and 14 grandchildren. He has a large family that loves him, and we will do anything in our power to help him survive. Nick is a decorated Airforce veteran and has fought in several wars including The Gulf and Desert Storm. He is a dedicated husband, father, brother, uncle, friend and grandfather. He is strong-willed and thinking positively, and he is prepared to fight this with all that he has. He understands that he has been an integral part of this family, weathering the loss of his mother, eldest sister and young brother, doing all that he can to keep our family bonded to one another. He was committed to his work for AT&T for 30 years, he is an avid British car lover and a family man to the core. He has a wonderful sense of humor, the biggest heart and is the best storyteller you can ever listen to!
