Nick Cronan's medical expenses

Nick Cronan was badly injured in a motorcycle accident on June 13, 2021. He was stopped at a stoplight on his motorcycle when an uninsured driver hit him from behind, throwing him across the intersection. He suffered a badly broken leg, a broken arm and red-hot road rash.

Surgeons at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics will piece his leg back together. It will require months of healing and therapy. The good news is his broken arm and road rash will heal in the coming weeks. However, the leg injury will keep him off work for many weeks -- that's many weeks without a paycheck and thousands of dollars in unanticipated medical costs. The driver of the car that hit him was uninsured.
