Nick Dugmore of Stoke Wines needs our help!

It's been shocking for us all to hear the news of Duggies stage 3 bowel cancer diagnosis at only 38 years old. Nick will beat this, but it looks like a year-long treatment the docs have planned for him. With chemo starting early September, then radiation therapy early 2024 and possibly surgery to follow there’s a long road ahead for Nick and his family.
With all the doctors and hospital visits ahead, all we want to see is Duggie focusing on his health and his family, his beautiful wife Bec and their two young kids. We want to leave the hard slog in the vineyard and winery to the contract labourers..... but this takes money!
Pruning is out of the way, but the rest of the growing season is coming up fast. This means fungicide spraying, wire lifting, irrigation repairs and maintenance, shoot thinning, tucking, trimming and the dreaded netting, all normally done by Nick making trips away from home and over to Kangaroo Island. On top of this there’s winery work to do and of course vintage in March/April 2024.
Let’s try and lighten the load for Nick and his dad Max and give generously to help fund hiring out contractors to take care of these activities this year.
I know so many of us want to help, so let's dig deep and help keep the Australian Young Gun of Wine 2023 Vigneron of the Year's Kangaroo Island vineyard going without him for the year while he puts in the big fight!
