Final expenses for Nick

Hi, My name is Lorrin. Two months ago my whole family’s world was changed. My younger brother was diagnosed with Liver cancer. Even as I type “two months” its hard to believe that’s all it’s been because it feels like so much longer. No one tells you how absolutely life changing a cancer diagnosis can be and I’m not even the one with cancer. Nickolas, even though he has spent several months in pain due to the tumors and fluid building in his abdomen and lungs, has continued to work as long as he could. However, after multiple days long hospital stays he has run out of PTO and sick days. He has also reached a point in his disease where between treatments and medication he will most likely not be able to return to work regularly for sometime. My parents live two hours away from where my brother is receiving his treatments and my mom has stopped working so she can be with him daily. My dad still works and travels to Atlanta on the weekends so my mom can get some rest. My family is fortunate enough that we have been able to pull together our resources and finances and make it this far. However, with that being said, we are asking for donations to help Nick cover his rent, utilities, car payment, food, medical co-payments, etc. while he fights this battle. None of this has been easy. I mean yeah, it’s cancer, but there is literally no preparation for every challenge that comes with that diagnosis. So please, if you have the means a donation would be great. Reaching our goal would give Nick and my parents some breathing room to not worry about financial things but instead focus on the healing.
