Nick Gravenites is a Chicago Blues giant, producer, guitarist, singer songwriter extraordinaire. His song "Born In Chicago" led the Paul Butterfield Blues Band to fame as the opening track on their first album. He was a founding member of The Electric Flag and lead singer with them at Monterey Pop. He wrote songs for Janis Joplin that she performed at Woodstock, produced Quicksilver Messenger Service, Otis Rush, the hit song One Toke Over The Line by Brewer and Shipley and many others in his long fascinating career. At age 85 he needs help with mounting expenses. Please support this unique musician who has given all of us the gift of so much great music.
