Nick Kaiser Go Fund Me

My name is Patty Normile. I am the principal at Mercy Montessori.

I have known Jan and Keith since my Freshman year at Xavier.

Nick Kaiser, their youngest son, is a graduate and the son of our esteemed Junior High Math Teacher, Keith Kaiser and Jan Kaiser, former Mercy employee awesome nurse and mother.

On Saturday, March 23rd, Nick had a horrific fall. He was airlifted to Grant Hospital in Columbus. He sustained multiple skull fractures. He has been in the ICU since then.

Today, March 27th, we have learned that he is more lucid, was able to walk for a short bit yesterday, and is working with the PT and OT specialists to determine next steps. The doctors feel he is making satisfactory progress.

At this time, they are exploring rehabilitation centers for the next step in his recovery process.

I have set up this fund to help the Kaiser Family. The Kaiser's have been an amazing part of Mercy since Keith began his career here 36 years ago. We have all grown up together with the Kaiser's and love them individually and as a family. This is one of many ways we have offered our support.

Funds donated to this Go Fund Me account will be used to offset hospitalization costs, travel costs for the Kaiser Family, and ANY other needs they have during this very tough time. You are welcome to send me an email should you have any questions or concerns.

All funds will go directly to the Kaiser Family. Go Fund me takes a very small portion of the funds on their end for processing fees. That information is on their website.
