Honoring Nick Leavitt with support for his family

All those who appreciated, enjoyed, and loved Nick Leavitt are deeply saddened about his sudden passing on Monday, February 5th.

Nick was an exceptional man, friend, son, brother, partner, and father. He will be remembered for many wonderful qualities: his thoughtfulness, his kindness, his sense of humor. He had an easy smile and a great laugh. He took care of those he loved with full commitment and consideration, and he loved Michelle and Winston with all his heart. With Michelle currently expecting, Nick looked forward with joy and anticipation to welcoming a daughter in the coming months to their family. He would have been the best girl dad.

Offers to help have poured in from family, friends, and colleagues all around the world, a testament to how Nick and Michelle have shown up for others over time. Now their community is seeking to do the same at this tragic time of need.

This GoFundMe is a way to meaningfully honor Nick by providing support to what mattered most to him, his family. Michelle, Winston, and Baby Girl on the way will be navigating his loss and charting a new life without Nick for days, weeks, months, and years to come.

Nick’s funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 18, 2024, at 1:00 pm (MST) at Horan & McConaty Funeral Home located at 1091 S Colorado Blvd., Denver, CO 80246.

For those that wish to express condolences to Nick's loved ones, the funeral service doors will open one hour before the service (12:00 pm) and a reception off-site will follow where we all hope to eat, drink, and talk about Nick. All are welcome.

Online viewing of the service via zoom will be available. Details on how to join virtually will be published here as they are available.
