Nick Nealon House Fire

On January 12th, Nick Nealon lost his home to a fire. The damage was so extensive that the building was demolished by the city.

Practically everyone in the Capital Region theater district knows the name Nick Nealon (or more likely his nickname, "Nicky Lightz"). He has volunteered countless hours providing light and sound design for numerous companies in the area, while sharing his extensive collection of expensive equipment, often free of charge. He has done so much for our theater community over so many years.

After the news of the fire became public, several theater companies immediately said they wanted to raise funds for Nick to help him in his challenging time. This GoFundMe fundraiser was created by all these companies coming together to provide one place to collect support for Nick.
