With a heavy heart, I’m asking for your help. Nick Reyna passed away on Wednesday, February 10th, 2021, after fighting pancreatic cancer for over a year. He leaves behind a wife, three children, and two grandchildren.
Nick was a veteran who served 20 years in the Marine Corp and fought for our country in Operation Desert Storm. After retiring from the Marine Corp he served close to 20 years as Sheriff’s Deputy with the Yellowstone County Sheriff’s Department in Billings, MT. He proudly served his country and community for the majority of his life.
As a few of you know, Nick had been battling pancreatic cancer for over a year now. He was on both radiation and chemotherapy. For those of you who are not familiar with this type of cancer - its about as bad as it gets.
Nick was not able to work for over a year now, had to retire early and he used up all his paid medical leave with his department. He had no income for the last year and has racked up a mountain of medical bills.
Nick was not looking for charity, he did not really want me to set this up, but he has no other resources, and reluctantly gave me his permission. I arbitrarily set the goal at $50K, but there is no real minimum or maximum. Nick’s family could use any dime we could spare him.
Please give this request your most profound consideration, and donate whatever you are able, whenever you are able.
