Nick Woods -Journey That Chang

Day 1, The day it happened: My nephew was in a bad accident. He was flown to Shock Trauma. If you are the praying kind... we can really, really use them right now. My nephew Nick, my sister’s son. His dad passed away suddenly a few years ago... I really, really need him to survive.
When I was first told to head to the hospital, I was told that Nick was in an accident, major head trauma, major abdominal trauma. It didn’t look good.
Most of you know that Nicks father passed away suddenly a few years ago a week before Nick and Nick’s birthday. (They share a birthday) my first thought was, my sister lost her husband, my niece lost her father. How could God take their other Nick? I was devastated... and I knew that was only a small part of what my sister and niece were going through.
So I reached out. There’s no way I could survive without you.
What this page is about:
On Saturday, May 26th Nick was involved in a single car, single passenger vehicle accident in Carroll County. Nick t-boned a tree while speeding around a corner. This page is dedicated to communicating Nick’s journey. I refuse to let this tragedy pass without trying to do a few things. In a world where we are constantly bombarded with negativity, it is essential that I try and convey the necessity of looking for and creating good when you can. I also feel obligated to help you understand that this could happen to ANY family. If what has happened to Nick can influence you, your family or friends to have a conversation, change your perspective or make a better choice and save you the incredible grief and worry that our family is dealing with, then I have achieved what I have set out to do..
