Nick's cycle for HOPE not hate Charitable Trust

I'm cycling 19 of the 2019 Tour de France stages (approx. 3,400km) on an indoor bike in aid of HOPE not hate Charitable Trust.

I'm recovering from major surgery on my left foot which I underwent in November 2019. This was to help me with a neurological condition with which I was diagnosed at the age of 15. Following the surgery I was unable to walk unaided for 3 months and I am now, like the rest of the country, on lockdown thanks to this international pandemic.

So, in order stay active during this time and also help with my recovery I have made the ridiculous decision to cycle 19 stages of the Tour de France 2019 (not including the time trial stages) on my indoor bike. This totals about 3,400 km which I've worked out amounts to approximately 12% of the Earth's circumference which, I'll admit, is daunting.

I've made this into a fundraiser for HOPE not hate Charitable Trust (HNHCT). HOPE not hate is an antifascist organisation that exposes, undermines and campaigns against the far right. 

HNHCT is the charity arm of HNH, and campaigns in communities bringing people together, runs lessons in schools around the country almost every day of the week, delivers training workshops, runs community events and does a whole host of other positive and outstanding things.

This is important work and, like everything else, it's going to be severely impacted as a result of COVID-19. If you're able to chip in a few quid to help keep the wheels turning (so to speak), that would be great.
