Healing for Nick

This past Easter, my good friend Nick Heffelfinger was diagnosed with Chronic Myeloid Leukemia. CML is a rare blood-cell cancer that starts in the bone marrow. In May, Nick graduated from the Boston Conservatory with a BFA in Dance. He currently lives in Dallas, Texas and is a part of Dark Circles Contemporary Dance Company. He will be on tour in several locations throughout the US, and he is even one of 4 dancers selected to perform in South Korea! He is an incredibly hard working, humble person who is always kind and always positive. A simple smile from Nick can make your whole day better. He would go out of his way to help someone in need, but unfortunately, Nick is in need of some help himself. With all of the changes going on in his life right now, he shouldn't have to worry about the financial aspect of all of this. Nick's treatment plan consists of medication that he will be taking for the rest of his life, along with acupuncture and nutrition counseling. His medication is going to cost $6,000 a month! I wouldn't wish this on anyone, but especially not on someone who is so kind and generous in every way. I am asking for donations of any amount to help out this wonderful deserving person so he can take care of his health and continue to live out his dream as a dancer. Any amount of help that you could offer would be greatly appreciated not only by myself, but also Nick, the entire Heffelfinger family, and all of the family and friends who love and care about Nick.
