Music Therapy-College Tuition Fund
Donation protected
Goodbye, Western Mass! Hello, Central Mass! This fall I will be attending Anna Maria College in Paxton, MA (near Worcester) where I will be double majoring in Music Therapy and Psychology. I’ve been waiting my whole life to get to this moment and I’m very proud of everything I’ve accomplished to get here. It’s been a long, difficult road. Here’s a bit of information about the journey I’ve been on so far:
I was put up for adoption at a very young age. I was fortunate enough to escape a life from an addict mother and absent father. I learned a few years ago that both of my parents passed away before I was able to meet them. Although it is difficult to live with that each day, I am forever grateful to God for being adopted into my wonderfully supportive family. I truly believe that everything happens for a reason.
This January I graduated from Holyoke Community College with my Associates in Liberal Arts and Certificate in Music Performance. Attending HCC gave me the skills I needed to ready myself for transferring to Anna Maria. The music department at HCC is top notch and is full of love and support. I will truly miss everyone involved in that department while I continue on my educational path.
I’ve got the talent and passion to succeed, the only thing missing is the funds to make it happen! Each donation will help me worry less about paying off my tuition and more helping those in need. Once I graduate from Anna Maria, I am hoping to secure a job at a hospital where I can use music to help chemotherapy patients, premature babies grow and develop, and any person admitted that is in need of help. My main goal is to create my own private practice where I can travel to clients as well as have them come to me for therapy.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and thank you for your donation. Any amount of money donated will be much appreciated!
