Nick’s MacMillan Challenge
Hi, I’m Nick. As a few of you know in September 2024 I was suddenly diagnosed with incurable and inoperable stage 4 cancer of the colon, lymph nodes, lungs and liver. I am being treated at the MacMillan Cancer Unit at Milton Keynes University Hospital with Chemotherapy. The treatment I’m getting is second to none. They treat everyone so well. I’m fighting this cancer to the end so wanted to set myself a challenge to prove it.
I am frightened of heights so have set myself a challenge of when this course of chemotherapy is over (End March roughly) along with my work colleague Jack (for encouragement and support) am going to walk over the o2 building. My husband Andy is part of this too by helping with sharing and with technology that I don’t understand to gain more support for MacMillan.
I hope you can support me raise money for this excellent charity who rely on donations by sponsoring me to do this. It will be my way of saying’Thank You’ to this worthwhile charity. No matter how small or large the donation every penny counts. If you can’t donate please can you share this on your social media.
I will update you all on exact date of climb as soon as I know it and there will be photo’s updated on the day. In the meantime:-
On behalf of Myself, Andy, Jack and MacMillan I Thank You.
