Nick's new wheelchair

Hi everyone, I’m Nick!

I’m 11 and in my last year of primary school.

In 2021, I was diagnosed with Muscular Dystrophy (MD.)

MD is a progressive condition, which means it gets worse over time. It often begins by affecting a particular group of muscles, before affecting the muscles more widely.

Although there is no cure for MD, treatment can help to manage many of the symptoms.

I do my best to enjoy my daily life as comfortably and confidently as I can, and I am now hoping to buy a wheelchair which will continue to enable me to do this.

My family have helped me set up this page for anyone who would like to make a donation towards a brilliant wheelchair which will be hugely beneficial in supporting my mobility.
