Nicolas Pederson

Nicolas is a kind, athletic, typical All-American teenager growing up in Pittsburgh, PA. Good son, great big brother, lots of friends, good student, loves playing on his high school football team, wants to pursue Engineering or Architecture in college. Recently, on what was supposed to be a 3-week visit with family in Idaho and Washington, he was in a very serious dirt bike accident. Despite following behind his uncle at a safe speed and wearing full protective gear, Nick was thrown from the bike and suffered a severe brain injury. He pulled through his life-threatening injuries and is now in a hospital in Spokane, WA, far from home. Thanks to his age the doctors are giving him a hopeful prognosis for recovery; but it will be a long journey with many obstacles to overcome. What he needs most is prayers; but so many have asked to help in donating to Nick in some way. An account has been set up for Nick which will be used for any unknown future medical, recovery and therapy bills; as well as the unknown transportation costs for getting Nick safely across the country back home to Pittsburgh.
