Help Nicole Aronson Silverman Fight Cancer

My dear friend Nicole Aronson Silverman recently discovered a lump in her breast. After undergoing numerous tests and a biopsy, she was initially diagnosed on July 21, 2022, with Stage 2 Breast Cancer. As of now, the cancer may have potentially advanced to Stage 3 after spreading to a lymph node under her arm, which poses a serious risk of further spread and requires quick, aggressive treatment. She will begin eight weeks of intense chemotherapy on August 8, 2022, followed by surgery (and post-surgery recovery), and then 4-6 weeks of radiation treatment.

This has all come as a major shock to Nicole, who's only 35 years old and otherwise healthy, and to her husband and family. It’s going to be a very difficult and challenging road, which is why we’re seeking additional support to help along the way.

While insurance will cover a portion of the medical costs, there will still be many out-of-pocket expenses for medical bills, medications (prescription and OTC), cancer diet food costs, clothing, and items needed during and after treatment, mental health expenses, and other necessities during treatment and recovery. Since Nicole will be unable to work during most of her treatment, and with a lot of the household income dedicated to mortgage, car payments and other bills, any additional financial support will go a long way.
