Nicole Audia
Donation protected
At this time we’d like to support the family by assisting them with a small contribution to the funeral cost.
Nicole was such a kind hearted young lady who was always so positive, happy, hardworking and fun to be around. She always brought such a positive energy to anyone and everyone who came in contact with her. Nicole had one brother, one sister and two loving parents. She loved going to concerts and one day wanted to get married. She was known to be a “foodie” as she enjoyed great food and always going out to restaurants.
Over the last 5 years Nicole has battled a rare blood disease called Myelofibrosis, which is a type of bone marrow cancer that disrupts your body’s normal production of blood cells. It causes extensive scarring in your bone marrow, leading to severe anemia that can cause weakness and fatigue. While she was still at work she was receiving weekly blood transfusions that eventually increased to daily. In August of 2019 she finally received a bone marrow transplant which the doctor’s hoped would have help with her progression. From there due to a low white blood cell count that her body couldn’t produce she continued regular visits to the hospital for more ongoing blood transfusions.
This past week she had mentioned how she really wanted to come back to work and be able to get out of the house and see everyone again, but shortly after that conversation she was rushed into ICU where she spent her final days.
Nicole will be missed by all but never forgotten and will always be in our hearts and minds.
