Hi everyone, thank you so much for your generous donations, thoughts, prayers, and kind words! I am so proud that we’ve already exceeded our donation goal as this will go a long way to help Nicole.

Nicole is doing very well and is now recovering at home. She still has a long road to recovery and is taking it one day at a time. She is beyond grateful for everyone’s love and support!

Nicole is still without her phone (and email as a result) so the best way to reach her is through Facebook messenger.

Our friend, sister, daughter, and neighbor, Nicole (Nikki), was in a severe head on collision on Monday, 7/24/2023 in Hinsdale, NH. I’m sure we all read the article or heard the helicopter as it flew her off to UMass, but the story tells it all. Luckily, she’s pulling through, but it’s not without the support and help of the paramedics, firefighters, nurses, doctors, and her countless friends and family.

Unfortunately, she has a long road ahead and needs our support now, more than ever. Doctors are estimating it could be 3-6 months before Nicole’s able to return to her normal routine – possibly even longer. To start, she suffered 7 broken ribs, a broken sternum, a broken nose, and severe lacerations all over her body. To say she’s in a great deal of pain is an understatement; and those are just the physical scars.

 

She’s so grateful to be alive and is truly blessed with all the love and support of her countless friends and family. But, that’s not enough. As many of you know, she works as an Assistant in the Vice Principal’s office at Brattleboro Union High School. While she loves what she does, it’s barely enough to cover her monthly expenses. To help supplement her income, she helps others by house and pet sitting. These injuries will make it impossible to earn the supplemental income for the foreseeable future. 

 

Nicole would NEVER ask for financial assistance from anyone, but we know she needs our help. We humbly ask for you to consider helping Nicole through these tough times – as she’d do for any of us.
