Nicole Eggert Needs Your Help

Mindy here. My dear friend, Nicole Eggert, was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and needs our help.

It's been a long time since Charles in Charge and Baywatch. As a single mom, she's had to struggle financially to raise her two daughters. She still has a little one at home and she is terrified of not being able to afford the treatments and surgery necessary while also keeping a roof over their heads. She’s lost both her parents and doesn’t have any family to lean on or help her with this situation.

She has a long road ahead. Multiple expensive imaging - CTs, MRIs, Ultrasounds, etc. Multiple doctors to see - oncologists, surgeons, etc. Cancer treatments and medications. Her current insurance won't even scratch the surface of what she needs.

She is tenacious and has always found a way to get by, but this is different. She will be unable to work while undergoing surgery and treatments. She has a long, scary road ahead and has a terrible time asking for help.

I implore you to help my friend afford her medical bills as well as feel secure that she won't be left without a home for her family during this extremely trying time.

Once she is on the road to recovery, she intends to start a non-profit for single parents like herself, without families, who are going through this ordeal.

She will be grateful for any contribution. Everything helps.

UPDATE 9/24/24:

Hello All!

Nicole has been so incredibly grateful and moved by all the love and support she has received. It has really helped carry her through her very heavy journey. So THANK YOU!!!

I wanted to update everyone and hopefully generate more help to get her through this unexpected extended treatment. Nicole had a fantastic response to the chemotherapy regimen she was given and was cleared to have a mastectomy. She was hoping to have a double mastectomy, have radiation treatments, and begin to put this behind her.

Unfortunately, due to how advanced they discovered her cancer to be, they only removed one breast and she will be immediately returning to chemo treatment of some kind.

Most would be pretty devastated by this news but not our Nicole! She continues to keep a positive and optimistic mindset and spirit and she refuses to allow this news to distract her from the big picture which is beating this and living a healthy, productive, beautiful life with her children.

Of course, this added and unanticipated treatment will keep her in the treatment facility and at home recovering which keeps her from finding employment. She expresses her frustration of not being employed and as expected carries extreme stress about finances on top of the worry of beating cancer and being here for her girls. These are the times when being a single-income household really becomes such a burden for her.

I'm asking you all if we can help her to relieve some of this financial burden by donating anything we can. It makes such a difference when she can focus on getting healthy and being a Mom to the loves of her life - her daughters.

It has been so great to see her keeping busy and distracted with the documentary, however, that isn't covering her bills and expenses which are a lot! I know she is yearning to get back to work but until that is possible she needs our help! Anything and everything is appreciated and makes such a wonderful impact.

I appreciate and adore everyone who is, has, and continues to be there to support her and I know she does too. Thank you for considering and sharing and let's see her to the finish line!!!
