Nicole Gillen-Felker

Hi, my name is Sergeant Chad Ammerman 2000-2005. I served two tours over seas with Veteran Nicole Gillen. Nicole Gillen-Felker passed away unexpectedly Thursday, October 26th, 2023 leaving behind her husband Albert and their beautiful 9 year old daughter Ember. I am pleading for donations to go to her 9 year old little girl Ember Victoria Felker.

Ember attends her local Catholic School, is on the school basketball team and a Science Olympiad. I am hoping we can come together to relive some of the financial burdens that come from loosing a spouse and parent. Albert now has to face raising a 9 year old little girl on a single income. I am doing what I hope anyone would do for me. Besides driving round trip 9 hours to pay respects to the family from SFS 28, I am hoping to rally support for one of our own and relieve some of her husband’s stress. Wether it be for school uniforms, tuition when needed, an extra curricular activity or anything else Ember may need. Let us show how strong we are as a unit and come together to show our love and support to Nicole's family in their time of need.

When speaking to Ember she wanted me to share “mommy was a very strong and brave girl”.

We cannot bring back Ember's mommy, but together I know we have the ability to make sure Ember can continue to live life as normally as possible.
