Nicole Gokey medical expenses

Nicole was admitted to the hospital September 20th, with debilitating abdominal cramps, she sat with no answers for about 5 days (minus being diagnosed as diabetic) the following Monday they did a ct scan & a colonoscopy, the colonoscopy showed nothing due to poor prep, the ct scan showed a major bowel obstruction, on September 27 she went in for emergency surgery where they removed a mass (benign, thank goodness) as well as, a majority of her large colon.

She was on the recovery track until the planned day of discharge, her heart rate sky rocketed & white blood cell count went up. They found out that she had a leak in the surgical site, as well as a very, very, very small abscess. They decided to wait it out to see if it would fix itself, it did not.

October 18th she went in for another surgery, in hopes to fix the leak and drain the abscess when she woke up, she had a colostomy bag as well as a drain.

Since then, she thought that she was on the road to recovery, and now she is am having pelvic pain that’s unexplainable from the newest CT scan.

My name is Demerise and I am helping raise funds for Nicole Gokey. Funds raised will help with medical expenses that she is accruing, the everyday life expenses that don't stop, household bills, and groceries, even though she has not been unable to work. Alex is working his tail off to be there with her and still work, but the loss of Nicole's income is catching up and the medical bills are rolling in.
