Nicole Mortensen Cancer Treatment

My sister in law Nicky has been diagnosed with Follicular Thyroid Cancer.  She has been traveling back and forth to Utah to see specialists and would like to begin treatment first of December.  She has already had her thyroid removed and now needs iodine radiation therapy.  Reluctantly, Nicky had to take a leave of absense due to illness. Her preventative insurance doesn't cover thyroid cancer.  This has been very hard on their family emotionally, physically and financially.   They have considered skipping some of the steps required for treatment because of costs.  In my mind this is not an option as she needs to be healthy and well for her two young kids, Mason and Serena.  Her husband Kelly is a strong believer in God and has a lot of faith this will all work out.  This can only happen if others are willing to give generously. 

Kelly and Nicky are both hard workers and don't like hand-outs.  Their pride is keeping them from asking for help.  Through the work that they do, both Kelly and Nicky  have changed lives and blessed many others in addiction recovery efforts.  Now is the time for us to help them out!
