Nicole Segura Memorial Fund

With the deepest regret, I’m writing this on Behalf of the Segura family. Nicole was a daughter, sister, granddaughter, cousin, niece, and friend to all that knew her. Tragically Nicole Marie Segura’s life was cut short on December 10, 2019. Nicole was a passenger in tragic car accident which ultimately ended her life.  Nicole was only 20 years old and had her whole life ahead of her, which was taken way too soon. She was extremely caring, loving, and genuine young lady. Nicole was deeply passionate about her family and friends. She had the most amazing ability to develop and foster the deepest relationships with all she touched. Nicole was an extremely patient and compassionate caregiver for the seniors she worked with at Sunrise Living.

Over the past few years, Nicole has been deeply concerned about the health of her mother Stacy. Family and friends of Nicole knew or may not have been fully aware of the extent of her mother's condition with her kidneys.  Stacy, has more recently over the past year dealt with increasing and on-going medical issues with each new procedure. Resulting for her to not work consistently since she has been in and out of the hospital. Most recently before and after thanksgiving, which was just a week ago . Nicole had plans to get tested so that she could give her mother one of her kidneys. Unfortunately, Nicole’s dream of doing this will never be fulfilled. Over the past year, the Segura family has worked extremely hard to make-due with only one income. Giving Nicole the proper funeral she deserves will be extremely difficult.
