Nicole Stevens Medical Recovery Fund

Hello, My name is Loely Burgos, Founder of PlantEDG and close friend of Nicole Freire Stevens. Aside from being the talented creator of @thehighhoop, Nicole also works as an independent field marketing consultant with PlantEDG. On Friday, December 29, 2023, Nicole arrived at Madmen WeHo to work a promotion for our client Jetty when she was suddenly struck at full speed (approx. 20 miles an hour according to witnesses) by a man riding an electric scooter on the side walk. Nicole suffered skull fractures and injuries to her brain, and upon arriving at Cedars Sinai experienced mild seizures and post concussive amnesia.

Many in the Cannabis Industry know Pete and Nicole Stevens from their time running the Santa Barbara Care Center in Goleta. The first medical dispensary in the Santa Barbara area. They were always welcoming and supportive of licensed brands in the industry so we are coming to that same industry to rally everyone for one of our own. Due to the traumatic brain injury Nicole has sustained she will be on anti-seizure medication for at least 6 month rendering her unable to drive. She also has a great deal of PT and occupational therapy ahead. We know that medical bills will start to come very soon so I have no doubt they will appreciate all of the help we as her friends and family can provide.
