NICU Babies First Photos

Every holiday season Kathryn creates these fabulous photo booths for the babies and their parents in the NICU (neonatal intensive care unit) where she works.  She does so all out of her own pocket with love for her tiny patients and their families.  These children often live in the NICU for months and their parents don't have the same opportunities for photographs that parents of healthier newborns have.  

Kathryn brings great joy to the parents of these little ones.  She often crochets or sews costumes for the babies to wear in their first photo shoots.  For Halloween, her theme was little super heroes and each baby received a super hero-themed onesie that Kathryn made, complete with mask and cape.

Funds from this campaign will help Kathryn continue her one-woman mission for bringing happiness to the parents of these very sick babies.  And the chance to be just a proud parent of a darling bundle of joy for a few minutes.
