Nidian Colon’s Celebration of Life & Funeral

Hello, my name is Johana and I am fundraising on behalf of Starasea Camara and Nidian Colon. Nidian passed on to become an ancestor on July 6th, 2023. We want to give this beautiful caring loving soul the proper send-off she deserves and would have wanted. In life, Nidian was a strong intelligent and beautiful being with many talents. She lived through struggles but regardless was always warm and welcoming to all. Nidian spoke her mind, she was brave and she was a fierce fighter and protector of those she loved and cared for. She was a mother, a daughter, a sister, an auntie, an artist, a poet, and she was a healer in her own right. She could heal you with a wave of her hand. Her jokes would always melt away your stress and put a smile on your face. She was and is truly magical!

We are very saddened by her sudden passing and are humbly asking for support in helping to make sure she can transition to the afterlife in a manner that truly honors her. We are also asking for support for her daughter Starasea through this very difficult time. Calling upon community for support in raising funds to cover the costs of a Celebration of Life/Funeral, and transportation costs as Nidian would have wanted to be laid to rest in her ancestral home of Panama. Amongst other costs that feel burdensome at this time for Starasea to handle on her own. We appreciate any help given! Many blessings to you all. Thank you.
