Nigel & Darrells Coast 2 Coast Walk
Donation protected
Last year Darrell was diagnosed with Bowel Cancer and after successful treatment is now fully recovered. So we decided to put our walking skills and fitness to the test. Whilst raising funds jointly for Bowel Cancer UK and the Masonic Charitable Foundation.
We are walking Coast to Coast across the UK, From St.Bees in Cumbria to Robin Hoods Bay in Yorkshire. 195 miles over 10 days. Up and down the steep hills and moors of the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales and the North York Moors. Following Alfred Wainwrights famous and the most popular long distance trail in Britain. One of the world's great walks.
We start on the morning of the 5th August and aim to finish on the 14th. We hope other walkers will join us on the way. You will be able to see our exact route and track our progress. A link to our tracker will be posted here in due course.
To manage donations we have set up this GoFundMe page. All donations will be split evenly between the two charities. Please support us as best you can.
