Continue to support Nigel's family and legacy

With heavy hearts, we are informing you that Nigel passed on the morning of December 11, 2023. Although he lost his battle to cancer, the best of Nigel’s heart, mind and spirit remained steadfast and will continue to live within all those that know him.

We are in complete disbelief and wish to express our deepest gratitude for the generosity, kindness and love shown towards Nigel and Katherine over these past few weeks. In just under 3 weeks, over $49,000 was raised to aid Nigel’s fight and the continued support that both Katherine and Nigel’s family will require moving forward.

In true Nigel fashion, a celebration of life and love will be held in the early new year. Details will be communicated at a later date.

Nigel was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic adenocarcinoma (cancer) of the lungs in October 2023. Due to his chronic health condition, the majority of his treatments were not covered by standard and/or private healthcare coverage. This has taken a massive financial, physical, mental and spiritual toll on both Nigel and Katherine. They were both unable to work and/or receive any income via work, government subsidies and other sources. Katherine has taken a full leave of absence from dance instruction and movement therapy and Nigel put his passion, Mindful, on hold. They were then able to focus on what is truly important to both of them, Nigel's health and well being and now, Katherine’s healing journey.
