Three high school losers desperate for popularity hatch a plan to steal a prized possession from the principal’s house. This is the basis of a short film created by a team of independent filmmakers based all over Florida, directed by Aldo Novo.
Donations to this fundraiser would assist in purchasing any props, set design materials, locations or equipment fees, costumes, etc., and anything else that we may need to successfully produce this film. After the film is completed we would also like to submit to nation wide film festivals. Funds will also be going towards any submission fees we may come across for said festivals.
As a thank you for your generous contributions to our film, all donors will be receiving a contributor credit that will appear at the end of the film, as well as a digital copy, at the end of the film festival season, for your viewing pleasures. Donors contributing $50 or more will receive an associate producer credit. Donors contributing $100 or more will receive an executive producer credit. LET’S MAKE A MOVIE!
MEET THE CREW
Aldo Novo is a filmmaker based out Orlando, Florida and a recent University of Central Florida graduate. With a portfolio working as an AD/producer for several short films and pilots for independent television shows, this is their first foray into directing.
Stephen Franklin is filmmaker based out of Miami, Florida. His portfolio consists of work in the director/director of photography position. He is excited to be stepping into the position of DP for this film.
Nacey “Ace” Fernandez is a filmmaker based out of Miami. She is a UCF graduate with a bachelor’s in Film. She has been a line producer for several short films, and is excited to step into the role of assistant director for this project.
Janine Moraga is a recent graduate of the University of Central Florida with a BFA in Film. She’s directed three films, one of which was selected for Terminus in 2023. She’s also gaffed for dozens of short films and will do so again for Night Heist. Outside of film, Janine loves playing Badminton and reading comics.
Clayton Griggs is a SCF student with a passion for film and production. He has been credited on 11 productions, mostly as 1st AC and gaffer. He will be jumping back into the role of 1st AC for Night Heist.
