Niihau “Nico” Ramsey

Hi, my name is Eric Bartholomew, I’m fundraising for Nico’s family for any expenses relating to his funeral and medical bills that may arise due to his untimely passing. The following is written by his close friend and Veteran Enforcers Motorcycle Association brother, Ed Clark.

Our brother and friend, Niihau “Nico” Ramsey, unfortunately and suddenly passed away on March 25th 2023, leaving behind his wife and two children. He was 50 years old.

Nico was a retired Master Sergeant, who proudly served 24 years in the United States Air Force. During his military career, he distinguished himself by earning the Meritorious Service Medal, Air Force Commendation Medal, Air Force Achievement Medal, Air Force Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War On Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War On Terrorism Service Medal, Korean Defense Service Medal, Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal, Air Force Overseas Ribbon and the Air Force Expeditionary Service Ribbon.

Since his retirement in 2014, Nico continued to serve his country working as a federal contractor for the Department of Defense. He served in many capacities to include service desk, Tier II and ultimately as a systems engineer.

Nico always had a kind word, a joke and a smile that could lift your spirits. He was one of the most genuine and caring people you could ever meet. It did not matter if he knew you for years or minutes, he always made the extra effort to make you feel included and that YOU mattered to him.

We all loved Nico very much. We were lucky to have him in our lives and we were all better people for having known and loved him. Because he made our lives so much better in countless different ways, we cannot even begin to imagine how much we will miss him. Yet, we know the love Nico gave to us and to the world will live on forever.
