First and foremost, Thank you EVERYBODY who has shown me any type of support thus far. After much anticipation and speculation from my peers, I am excited to announce the release of my debut EP!

Hey everybody, my name is Nikiajnae and I’m a 24 - year- old singer and songwriter out of Houston, TX. I've been singing since I was 6 years old, making music a focal point of my life. Some would describe my sound as soulful, others would speak on its rawness and candidacy, many are just surprised that I'm able to push such a big voice out of my small frame. All of these things and more help describe the makeup of what's to come on my EP.  

This project is not only the exploration of my growth as an artist but as a person; the good and the ugly. I'm learning to embrace my flaws as challenges and not as everlasting defects.  I'm working on the confidence to stand-alone despite what others may think and most importantly I'm learning to LOVE me. Hopefully, my unmasking provokes openness and healing within my listeners; but if nothing else, I pray that they FEEL uplifted, inspired, and loved. 

Just to give you a little taste of what I've accomplished:
1. I've opened up for rapper Megan Thee Stallion
2. I was the first artist to perform with a band at the House of Blues
3. I sang the National Anthem for Prairie View University’s Homecoming twice.

I've already begun the production process and I've quickly realized that it's not cheap. The last thing I want is my hard work and creativity to be overshadowed by subpar production. 

Donations will go to recording time, mixing, and mastering at primarily at Wire Road Studios. The studio has hosted artists such as Nas, Beyonce, and Slim Thug; making it one of the premier studios in Houston. I'm so grateful to be working with such talented people but as we all know quality comes at a price. Here is the projected breakdown:

Recording time (18 hours) = $1,800            [$100/ hour]

Mastering (3 hours)             = $450               [$150/hour]
