Playground Project in Honour of Nikita Belykh

On September 1, 2021, our daughter Nikita Victoria Belykh was tragically killed while riding her bicycle on the sidewalk in front of the Vaughan Community Centre on Pleasant Ridge Avenue in Vaughan.

Nikita was a beautiful girl, who was always ready to help everybody and make friends.

We thought that the best way to keep Nikita's memory alive is for her to make her friends and other kids happy by partnering with Ruskoka Camp to build a playground in her honour. Nikita was so happy in that camp in summer 2021, just two weeks before the tragedy. Although she will never play on this playground, it warms our hearts that other kids will.
