Nikita's funeral
Donation protected
My name is Shakira Jarvis.
On the 24th of October I found my little sister Nikita Rae Jarvis in her home which she resided at with her 2 children, she did not wake from her sleep and cause of death is still unknown until autopsy results come back. She was freshly 21 on the 16th of October. She leaves behind 2 beautiful children, Valerie (almost 5) and Michael (3). Nikita was the most beautiful person and so kind, had a wonderful sense of humour and knew how to make everyone around her smile. She had so much life to live and experience, she had just gotten a beautiful new home for herself and family, she had just found out she was expecting a 3rd baby, her daughter was about to start prep and she was looking so forward to that. She was so excited about her future. This situation has left our whole family traumatised and in shock, her death was so sudden and it has shaken us all. We are so thankyou for donations from the public for the clothing, toys, vouchers, flowers and gift cards for the children. Unfortunately we are a low income family and we are desperately looking for assistance to help pay for the funeral she deserves. We have some money to put towards it but we really need some help. If anyone could please help us reach our goal no matter how big or small we would be so grateful. We never expected to lose our Nikki so soon and so sudden. Our hearts are so broken. Rest in paradise Nikki Rae Rae, forever 21.
Nikita was the most wonderful person, her dream job since she was a child was wanting to be a Veternarian, she loved animals so much, to the point for a short period in her life she used to crawl around on the ground, lick herself and bark like a dog. She had a heart of gold. I wish I could have been more like her. She really loved singing and dancing, as a child our good days at home were spent watching high school musical and glee (amongst other musicals, but these were our favourite) while in our bedroom trying to copy them. She loved her friend so much to the point she'd have conversations with them in her sleep. She was an incredible, strong woman and I know she would have succeeded and gone so far in life. She was the sunshine in everyone's life.
*Thankyou so much to everyone who has donated, we are so thankful. Any excess money left over from the fund-raiser will be going towards the kids and their futures, helping them through schooling, making sure they get to have the life my sister would have wanted for them.
