Nikki and Crystal’s mom’s fight against Cancer

Hello, my name is Nikki and I’ve worked as a server in Cedar Park and North Austin for a almost 8 years now, and my sister Crystal has been bartending in Georgetown and cedar park for about 10+ years. We are calling on all of our friends, family, friends of family and friends, anyone that is willing, for help. Our mom, Brenda, has Renal Cell Carcinoma stage 4. Back in 2017 she got her kidney removed along with an 8lbs tumor. Everything was fine for a while until this year, our mom started losing her appetite and if you know my mom that’s not like her. She was also in pain and not telling anyone, but my moms wife, my stepmom Heather, was paying attention and made her go to the hospital in early April of this year 2023. Which is also my mom’s birthday, that’s when the doctors at Ascension Seton Williamson discovered her cancer came back and is now on her lymph nodes and her liver. Mind you my mom does not smoke or drink. She just saw her regular doctor now who gave her options for insurance that will approve her, but we still need to hit a $10,000 deductible which even with hitting that, we aren’t sure if everything will be covered, plus my mom isn’t going to be able to work as much as she used to, so they are going to need help with paying bills on top of treatments.
