Nikki’s 100km walk in 24hrs for dogs on 11th June

Nikki is walking 100km in 24hrs to raise money for dogs in the shelter at Cadela Carlota & Companhia- Associacao de Protecção de Animals, in Algarve, Portugal where she now lives with her partner and her 3 dogs.

Nikki is walking to raise awareness of the plight of the dogs in the Algarve and the great work done by this charity

This shelter is run by volunteers who rehabilitate and try to find homes for the 80 dogs (on average) that are residents. Some have been there for many years, some come from the streets or living hell on a chain and some just find themselves in an unfortunate situation.

All proceeds raised will be used for food, bedding, medical care, toys and essentials for the dogs.
