Nikki's Escape Oklahoma Fund

Hi, my name is Nikki. I am a 25-year-old trans woman from Oklahoma. Due to recent legislation, I likely will no longer have access to the gender-affirming care that has saved my life. This is on top of legislation that makes "public drag performance" a jailable offense, a law that will absolutely be targeted at trans women just existing in public. It has become super clear that Oklahoma is not a safe state for me to live in, and that now is the time to leave.

UPDATE(05/25/2023): I am now currently staying with a friend in Chicago and moving into my own place next week, but unfortunately the move ultimately cost me my job. I am certain that soon I will land on my feet stronger than I ever did in Tulsa with a new job and I am forever grateful to everyone who has shared or contributed and made this move possible.
